By accessing or using Scholar Agent, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Scholar Agent is an AI-powered academic research platform that provides paper search, citation analysis, AI-generated summaries, and bibliography management. We aggregate publicly available metadata and provide tools for academic research.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must not share your API keys or allow unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to: automated scraping beyond API rate limits, distributing copyrighted content, or using the service for any unlawful purpose. Rate limits are enforced per subscription tier.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. AI-Generated Content
AI summaries and analyses are generated by machine learning models and may contain inaccuracies. They are provided for research assistance only and should not be cited as primary sources. Always verify information against original publications.
7. Limitation of Liability
Scholar Agent is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including reliance on AI-generated content.
